Honesty, Integrity and Community Changes Every Experience

Leadership Built on Trust. Change Driven by the People.

True leadership begins with honesty, is strengthened by integrity, and is measured by its impact on the community. For Githiga Ward, the time has come to rebuild trust, restore the voice of the people, and create a future where every resident feels heard, respected, and included.

My leadership vision is founded on the belief that public service is a responsibility, not a privilege. Every decision should reflect the needs of the people, every public resource should be treated with accountability, and every development initiative should aim to improve the lives of our residents.

Honesty: Speaking the Truth and Keeping the People Informed

The people of Githiga Ward deserve honest communication and realistic commitments. I believe in listening to residents, explaining challenges openly, sharing progress updates, and being truthful about what can be achieved. Leadership must be built on trust, not empty promises.

Integrity: Doing What Is Right

Integrity means serving the public interest, treating everyone fairly, and standing firm on ethical principles. I will champion transparent use of public resources, fair access to opportunities, responsible oversight of development projects, and accountability in the management of ward development funds.

Community Change: Development That Reaches Everyone

Positive change must be visible in people’s daily lives. My priorities include advocating for education support for needy learners, improved local roads and drainage, support for tea farmers and small businesses, youth empowerment, accessible healthcare, and better community services.

I believe development should not favour a few individuals or selected villages. Every part of Githiga Ward deserves a voice in setting priorities and a fair opportunity to benefit from development.

Every Experience Matters

Every resident has a story, a challenge, and an idea that can help shape our community. The experiences of farmers, parents, young people, traders, older residents, and persons with disabilities deserve to be heard and respected.

Through meaningful public participation and regular engagement, we can identify local challenges, set practical priorities, monitor progress, and hold leadership accountable.

Our Promise to Githiga Ward

  • Honesty in communication and public commitments.
  • Integrity in leadership and decision-making.
  • Accountability in the use of public resources.
  • Inclusivity in community participation.
  • Action through practical, measurable development priorities.
